Sorry for all of you who have been left hanging since January. Steve and I have been super super busy!!

-We went on a super amazing cruise with my family
-Played on a softball league
-Got new jobs with the City of Grapevine at the Vineyards Campground planning and directing activities
-Sold our dog
-Got our car broken into
-Got in another car accident
-Took three trips to San Antonio
-Went to Shliterbaughn... twice!
-Bought a new car aka steve's baby... a red corvette
-Played on a Sand Volleyball league
-Went to a Aerosmith Concert
-Family Reunion at Bear Lake
-Air Show in Idaho Falls

We certainly are living it up here in Texas and desperately trying to stay cool!! Texas summers are too hot to handle and I defiantly am missing the mountains and their cool nights!

Right now we are both loving life and feel so blessed to be here in Texas. I didnt ever really think that I would love it down here but I was SOO wrong. We have the best friends, the most wonderful pseudo family (LOVE THE ELLINGSONS) and are having the time of our lives. I honestly thought Provo was our prime, but Texas has proved bigger and better (minus Adam and Jamie ).

I promise to post pictures soon... just thought that I would give a quick update and let you know we are still here. In all honesty I check other people's blogs a few times a week but never update my own!

This is why I love my job... Let me set the scene. I am giving Christopher a bath and he turns to me and says " Miss McKenna can you give me a big girl kiss?" This look me by surprise and I said, " Sure?? (still not certain what he was meaning) But after your bath." "Ok", he says.... then he sings this (on pitch too!) "I kissed a girl and I liked it, I kissed a girl just to try it". My little guy loves Beyonce and every morning when I drive him to school he asks for the " boots with the fir song... low low low low". Love it. So funny.

Another family member

NO THIS IS NOT A PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT--

However.... we did add to our family. We got one of these!

He is super cute and is really pretty small. I like the think he is a 'princess' because he prances around everywhere- but Steve will have none of that! haha Steve is excited to add some 'color' to our family and was very disappointed when I put my foot down to naming him Juan carlos. We fianlly settled on Dutchie. We now have Dutch, Dutchess and Dutchie. We got him from Craigslist for FREE! He came totally equpit with a kennel, two bags of food, toys and all sorts of goodies! As for now we love him..... but we will just have to see how long that lasts! Just kidding. Seriosuly kidding.

So here is an update for us-- I am a part time nanny and LOVE the little ham I get to play with everyday. Defiantly connecting to my inner child. I also am a volunteer intern for the Parks and Recreation Department. I was also asked to co-chair the beautification committee for the non- profit organization called Keep Grapevine Beautiful and as such am a active board member. I have had such a blast being able to be apart of the KGVB and PARD here.

Steve is working away at TWG and is doing good! The people that he gets to work with everyday are the best! haha

Right now I am working toward buying some jet skis and a truck to pull them with-- hehe ;-)

The Last Little While

So Steve and I are super busy and love it. We also are loving Texas... for a number of reasons--

1. There are fountains EVERYWHERE! I have not seen so many fountains in my life. It seems like every decent neighborhood has a pond and fountain, if not two.

2. It is still 75 degrees here. In fact we got sunburned last weekend!

3. Crystal clear blue skies! Its hard to imagine what it is like.... I'll just put it this way... imagine what it would be like living in a bright blue fishbowl. You can actually see the sky at night with the sun on one half and the moon and stars on the other-- its pretty sweet (we also dont like Texas for this same reason- no mountains)

4. There is ENDLESS fun things to do here! To illustrate this point I'll post a few things about what we have been up to the last few weekends (neither steve or I work on the weekends, so we always play to make up for working during the week ;-)

First of all a few weeks back we went to an air show with the Andrew's and their super nice friend Chris who hooked us up with VIP seats!

The airshow was AMAZING! It seriously was way cool. The blue angles were there and the guy in the yellow plane landed and then took off from the top of that truck! It was SUPER cool! haha and there is me doing my best Top Gun look! haha

This was Halloween weekend, and so we carved our Texas pumpkin and went to a Halloween party at the Tanner's house. Then on Halloween night we went to a night club called the Glass Cactus. Some of you might be thinking, but mckenna you are not 21 yet. You would be correct in that. I took a friend of mine's ID (we look somewhat similar but in a costume no one could tell the difference) and went! It was a blast! Here are a few pics! We had a hick, Lady Gaga and Barney and Wilma. Sweet! It was super funny because Steve went at a black man from the 70's. And for those of you who dont know, Texas has a lot of black people, so when we went to the club, so many black people just couldnt get enough of his outfit! There were several times where people would stop him just to get a better look! haha it was great. There were so many fun costumes too! One in particular that I remember was a man who had green paint all over his body with torn up shorts on as the hulk. The thing of it was is that he had the body of the hulk without needing the costume so he simply painted his body green. amazing. haha and the party was even complete with a set of mormon missionaries. YIKES!

We went to a NASCAR race! hehe We both dont know much about NASCAR, but thought it would be fun to experience at least once! And it was. We really had a good time! The first time they go around the track it so exhilarating because on TV you dont really get how fast they really are going. But then after about lap 20 the fans take over as the source of entertainment! hehe The people there were so funny it was almost the best part of going! We were super close at first 4th row and then realized quickly after why those were the cheap seats and moved up more toward the top of the stadium!

Then this weekend we are going to go to a motorcycle show and then two of the local football teams (Southlake and Colleyville) are playing the first play-off game in none other but the Cowboys stadium. THAT is how important football is to the folks around here! No TCU stadium was not good enough, only the newest and biggest NFL stadium in the US is good enough for these High School teams! haha It is only 10 bucks a person so we are headed to Dallas this weekend! I will post pictures soon!

So there is a quick update as to what we are doing here in the land of sunshine and cowboys! PS: What do you think of getting an English Bulldog?

A Story about a Motorcycle Trip

Once upon a time.....

A man named Steve and his wife McKenna decided to go for a ride on their new motorcycle. They dressed in their black leather jackets, new helmets and protective boots.

Emily and Petey came too!

As they were driving they saw a dog on the road

As he saw that he was going to get hit, he ran onto the sidewalk. When he suddenly got spooked and ran right in front of Pablo (Peter and Emily's Scooter's name)

He was cleanly avoided but ran right into the side of McKenna and Steve's motorcycle!

Steve was able to not put the bike down, but the dog had ran right into his FOOT!

He was alright and so was the motorcycle ( after a few minor tweaks) and so Emily and Peter, Steve and McKenna, as well as these other nice people who saw what had happened stayed with the dog until the owner could come and take him to the vet.

He suffered some bleeding, a few broken teeth and a broken leg. Poor Jack! The owner said that it cost $5,000 to get him all fixed up! YIKES!

In the end, everyone was safe, and was able to go for a nice afternoon ride around the lake, and made it safely home!

The moral of the story:

WEAR YOUR HELMETS and protective clothing.

Letters and THE FAIR!

Dear Texas,

I just wanted you to know that I appreciate your warm weather but really would like more sunshine. I moved to Texas and not to Washington. I am in need of sunshine and not rain. Please consider this a request.

On a brighter note, We went to the STATE FAIR! haha so here is a list of the fun things that I noticed...

1. The people who you make fun of at your fair (you know- the people who dress weird or have crazy hair) are common place here and are the norm.

2. EVERYTHING that you can imagine is fried.... EVEN BUTTER! I know it sounds crazy but to prove my point I took as many pictures of all the different things that were fried so you could see for yourself-- here are my favorites-

The one below is of a sign and all of the 'big' words you can see come fried! EX: honey buns, oreos, marshmallows, pralines, and snickers.

This one below really sums up what the state fair was like... BIG AS TEXAS and FRIED

And just so you dont think I was lieing... FRIED BUTTER!

3. The 'world' famous corn dogs- or corny dogs as they call them are really WORLD class.

4. ANIMALS- So we were able to see the fattest pig EVER. This thing was so big it couldnt lift its head to eat and just layed there with its head in its bowl. Sad. I hope I never get to be this way.. ;-)

There was the BEST petting zoo I have ever been to. This zoo had lamas, kangaroos, zebras, giraffes, and all sorts of fun animals.

And I REALLY hope that I dont end up like this Lady here! ;-) (See number Three)

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST......

5. PIG RACES! Yes, Our fair has pig races- does yours? haha so here is a clip from the race.

So I have been crafting lately (to the demise of my school work) and will post some pictures soon of all the fun and EASY projects and ideas I have had. But one last thing before you go.... we made camel apples! It was Emily's idea, and sure was it a good one! See for yourself!

My New Job and other business...

So I got a new job! I am so excited and super blessed. I am a new NANNY! YA! I get to nanny this little boy named Christopher who is 4 years old. He is an only child and I nanny from 12:30-6:30 Monday through Friday! They give me sweet benefits and live in a nice house. SWEET! I am loving it so far! This little boy is so much fun and has so much energy it is just what I need to keep me on my toes! He calls me 'Miss McKenna' and is very mature for his age. He is such a sweetheart. I really know that I am going to love this family! His parents are great too! She works for a decorating company as a salesman (Great deals at Michael's) and he works for Clarks company (sells shoes). I really am super blessed to be able to get this job and do school in the morning and then nanny at night and still be home when steve is home! I love it!

Also, my friend Jamie gave us a the Ward Cookbook from Dessert book before we left and I am LOVING it! Steve is loving it too! These meals taste so good and are super easy on the budget and easy to make! Some of them really taste gourmet! You should really double think investing in this book... its worth its weight in gold in you ask Steve!

I decorated for Halloween! I am loving it! Here are a few pics....

The little bats were super easy to make.... Just paint some clothes pins black and then cut out some bat wings. Glue both ends of the bat wings together, slip the black clothespin inside and secure in place then clip wherever you want! Also, the black and orange flower/star things (pictured hanging above the dining room table are super easy too- email me and ill get you those directions- last but not least the apples floating in the bowl with tea candles came from my good friend Emily!)

Also, my friend Emily (same one as above) and I went to the BEST market last weekend. It is called The Monday Market in Canton, TX. Look it up... seriously soo much fun. All I can say is garage sale on steroids. We made a whole day out of it and had a blast and didnt get through the entire thing! I got this vintage berry basket for cheap and then painted it and made it into a a cute tray for on our automen for by our couch. Here are few pictures of before and after! Also, Steve started his job and it has been going really well for him! He loves it and is ready to be done with training! He is loving his job and is having a blast with the people that he works with!

Truck, Denver, Dallas, Fort Worth and Grapevine!

So this post is a tad backwards... but ohh well! Here are a few pics of the things that we have been doing down here in tx and a few pics from the trip down here! So... these next few are from the botanical gardens in Fort Worth. After being to Denver, Dallas, and several other cities Steve and I have come to the conclusion that Fort Worth is the best! We LOVE it there! It was beautiful, easy to get around, clean and so much fun!

I couldnt help but put this pic of steve up! haha and this one is of the stockyards in Forth Worth. This guy trained his horse to smile at the camera!

The one on the right is us as grapefest. Its like a fair but just down main street of Grapevine! It was so much fun!

And here was our truck! 26 feet plus the cab and then the car towed behind! So theres an update.. until next time!

Texas Rain

So, We have now been here in TX for an entire week! A week ago last night we finished our 12 hour drive (for that day) in our 26 foot moving van + our towed car. This last week has been filled with ups and downs. We are so lucky to have such great friends already. The Andrews have been the best friends that we could ask for. They have helped us move in and get settled. We really do love and appreciate them! Also, it HAS NOT STOPPED RAINING SINCE WE GOT HERE! Grapevine and the surounding area has been in a drought for the last few months and the day that we got here and since then it has not really stopped raining EXCEPT for when Steve and I were unloading our truck. So I was really nervous about moving. I was nervous about the heat and about not knowing anyone here. So when we showed up and rain cloud were hovering I just started praying that it wouldn't rain while Steve and I unloaded 26 feet floor to ceiling of stuff. Well, it rained the night before we unloaded and while steve and I got everything settled with our apartment complex and then just stopped raining when we started unloading until we took a break and went to lunch. It rained while we were at lunch and while we went to get some groceries and then stopped again when we got back to unload the rest of the truck. In total it took us about 6.5 hours to unload the truck with just the two of us and as soon as we got everything in the house it started coming down like cats and dogs like it had been filling up all day and just burst the minute that steve and I got all of our things into the house. My testimony has been so strengthened because I know that the Lord wants us here and knows my concerns, and answers my prayers. I know that the Lord loves us and wants us to be happy and to know Him and know that he is there. This move has been hard but I know without a doubt that it is the right thing to do! So here we go!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!
(haha which I know is Jamie.. and maybe my mom)
So we made it here and after three days of unpacking we are finally DONE! ya! I can seriously say that I got to a point where I just didnt care what was in the box.. i was throwing it away and if I needed it later I would just do without! Moving is NO FUN! BUT, we are done and now can go enjoy the city! We love where we are and we have made some good friends already! (no one could replace you adam.... dont worry!) and we are sooooo close to everything that we could possibly want but our apartment is out of the way and secluded! LOVE IT! and jamie i am so sad that you are not here because there is a CITY WIDE garage sale next week!!! city wide! i know... bummer that you be here! LAME! Plus next week is the grape fest where everyone comes to downtown adn stomps on grapes to made wine! ;-) we are so excited! haha and the Texas state fair is in two weeks! SOO FUN! here we come armadillo races! ;-) haha so here are a few pics of the apartment for my mom and jamie! they both helped ,me get everything put together and could envision what I was trying to plan back in UT. So in summary we are glad to finally have our own place with our own things and to be here... BUT we miss AJ and our family bad! so here are some pics.... sorry they are such bad quality..it looks way better in person!

So here we go..... tomorrow we leave some of our BEST friends. I dont know what we are going to do without D-liz and adam and jamie (aj). Seriously, we are going to miss them sooo bad! People here in p-town have make living here the best time of our lives! We are going to miss it so bad! But Texas will be a blast and we will have fun getting settled and learning to live in a new place! We will have to get pics of everything so you all can see whats up and where we are living. This summer had been the best one yet and really appreciate all the fun times with everyone! We will miss you! If any of you want to come to TX for a fun trip-- you have a place to stay! COME! hehe well.... here we go! Wish us luck!

So for all of you who read nie nie... while I was in washington I found out some really cool news. Steve's step-grandpa is also the grandpa of nie nie. THEREFORE we are step-cousins (or secong cousin) . So there... I AM related to someone cool.

PS: I know that I have not written in a long time-- but that will change in just a short few days when we get to TX. I will HAVE to keep it updated so my mom and family dont get upset! ;-)

Ever Changing... Ever Challenging

So this past little while has proved to be rather crazy! Steve was able to graduate! YA!!! and because of that we had family and friends over constantly. Therefore because of that we couldn't start to pack to move... That meant that yesterday I was suppose to pack all of our stuff up and then Steve would move it today. Well.... Steve and his brother showed up yesterday about noon ready to fill the trailer- so we just busted and packed and moved 90% of all of our stuff. THEN because I had packed all of my dishes my sister-in-law made dinner for us! It was awesome! We were really blessed to have such amazing family around to help us out!
Then I had told this lady that I would babysit for her. So I did that while Steve waited for me to come home so we could sit on the floor (all of our furniture was moved) and watch 24... our new favorite thing to do together. And when I was coming home the unthinkable happened......
I was t-boned. I was turning left onto 2230 when a kid trying to get through the yellow light went through a red and t-boned me going about 50. The car didn't flip.. thank goodness... but was really really badly damaged. They estimated over 5,000 dollars in damage to our nice new car!!! It was really awful! I was thankfully wearing my seat belt-- something that I don't usually do-- and walked away from the car. I have been in SEVERAL accidents and this one was one of the worst- car damage wise, and if you know me... then you know how bad this is.Today I am really sore and have some bad headaches but other than that- still living. I was so grateful to be ok and regardless of the entire mess, grateful for the blessings of safety.

CHICAGO!!!!!!

Steve and my really great friends D-Rod and Savannah got married in Chicago-- so we made a vacation out of it! It was just what i needed seeing as we had NO spring break [sigh]. So we started our much needed adventure with a LONG airplane ride. Then the fun began. To my much dismay- I had never ridden an actual train. (I know very sheltered)
Steve and I decided to surpass a rental car and did it like the natives(When in Rome do as the Romans do). We figured out pretty quickly how to get from A to B via train, bus and walking FAST! I felt like I had literally walked around the entire downtown the first night! So we went to the art institute first. It was AWESOME- EXCEPT for the fact that our feet were literally giving out undreneath us- we literally HAD walked around the entire downtown (only lost HALF of the time ;-)) So that is where this pic comes in... it is a lingum.. and for those of you who know what this means and symbolizes-- you know why that this is one of the ONLY pics that I took! ;-) (Thats for you Kyle and Mindy ;-))-

THEN on to the BEAN. Before Chicago I had NO idea what the heck this was-- only to find out it is chicago's most prized possesions! After a highly invived photoshoot (you would've done it too)

THEN pizza at the one and only Giagardo's. OHH MY GOSH!!! soooooooo good! It came out and I pulled the "holy cow I'm in heaven" look. It was the BEST pizza I have EVER had! umm..... Im getting hungry just thinking about it! PS: Steve decided to sign his recipt as Michael Jordan, in honor of the Chicago Bulls. And these last two are of the AMAZING sunset that we saw!

Then back to the place where we were staying-- we stayed with two of the BEST people that I have ever met! Brandy and Stephen were the most HOSPITIABLE, kind and loving people EVER! I wish we couldve stayed with them longer- altought they were probably glad to have us out of their hair! ;-)

NEXT DAY:
1. The Museum of Science and Industry-- WAY COOL! I felt almost like a little kid looking at all the exibits with utter and pure amazement. I LOVED IT! My favoarite was the chick hatchery. Thats right-- I got to see baby chicks being born- be jelous. ;-)

Steve and I took a trip with our super awesome friends the Miller's to my family's cabin in Island Park, Idaho a few weeks ago. I never put up pictures... so here are some! We went snowmobiling and created a SWEET toboggan luge course through the trees and out under this sweet arch thing. It was SOO fun and a MUCH needed break! And I will post pics of our newest adventure- CHICAGO- soon! :-)

The Utah Flash

My professor for my Islam and the Gospel class gave away some tickets to Friday's game of the Utah Flash team. I grab the pair and thought Steve and I would have a blast watching the game. It was super fun and we ended up getting a free t-shirt and a coupon for 5 Buck Pizza! But the best part was by far the half-time show! I couldn't believe how sweet it was! I'll let you decide if you think it is cool.... but I was blown away! Here is the video that Steve took!

New Hair Cut

So I decided that I want to go back to being a blonde for the summer. Then, I decided that my hair was way to band so I decided to cut it too while I was at it. I'm not sure how much I like it....... its really different that what I am used to. But hair grows back, so if I end up not liking it... headbands and hats for a few months! :-)

Steve and I have been trying to figure out what we are going to do for summer housing and for summer jobs. Recently, a place opened up that will save us enough money from rent to pay for the move to Texas! I was so relieved because moving is soooo expensive! Then, Steve's brother who lives in Provo, needs someone to help with his hardwood floor business. This is going to be perfect for us! Its flexialbe, will pay well, and will give us some good family time before we move out of state! The Lord really has blessed us!

For those of you who dont know, steve and I buy and sell cars for a living while trying to go to school full time. It has turned out to be one of the best family ventures yet! I love helping steve find the good deals and then fix them up. I have learned A LOT about cars. and today we sold out Audi a4! We made some money on it, and so its time to celebrate! I am so glad to have it gone! One down... three to go! :-)

So I have been crazy busy with school lately! This semester I am taking 18 credit hours and have been trying so hard to keep a balanced life. But one new venture that I have adopted is that I am going to learn to be a GOOD cook. I have had TWO successful dinners this week! wahooo!!! :-) I made swedish meatballs, with brown rice and steamed vegetables. The second meal I made was a baked chicken, rubbed with spices. It actually turned out well! Another few things that I am going to work on are....1. I will keep my clothes neat and tidy! (I have a problem of when I cant find anything to wear, tearing through my clothes until I do) 2. I will work out at least three times a week. I have wanted to do this for some time because moving to the land of perpetual summer (Dallas) I have to be summer body ready! :-) 3. I am going to do service acts as much as I can. 4. I will keep in better touch with my girlfriends and hang out with them! Since being married, I have found it increasingly hard to keep in touch with my firends! booo. So there is my list so far... ill have to keep you updated!

Better Late Than Never-- Christmas Party!

We had a Christmas party at our house last Sat. and I have been meaning to post some pictures but being stressed out with finals, I am just getting to it now! I actually have two more to take, and am going to take one tonight, so this is my reward for studying all day! :-) Carissa Rasmussen and her hubby helped us put this party together, and it was such a hit! We provided a potato bar, and then had all the guests either bring a dessert or a salad! Kelsi Coles made the best oatmeal cake that I have ever tasted.. Steve hates cake and LOVED it! Jane Cox brought these apple dumplings-- they were SOOO good! Her secret ingredient- mt. dew! So here are some pictures of a few of the guests!

Christmas cards!

This is the first Christmas that me and my hubby will spend together! I am so excited to spend it with him and to celebrate I decided that we needed to send out Christmas cards. We dont have much money to spend, so we took them ourselves! We should have them out in about a week! Here is the picture that we took. I think that they will look pretty good, yet in the actual one we cropped it a little bit as well as zoomed in. Ballin on a budget!!!! :-)

I had promised myself that I would NOT put up my Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. But i just couldnt wait! I HAD to! hahaha So Steve and I put them up last night! I LOVE them! We dont have a lot of extra money to spend on decorations, so I went to the dollar store and picked a few up, and I think that it turned out great! I also made my own wreath beacuse who wants to opay 40 buck for one?! LAME! But I think that mine turned out pretty good! I also was really happy with the onaments over the sink. I thought of the idea ofter an old neighbour of mine gave me a pressure rod that they werent using anymore. So heres a few pictures of how it turned out! I hope you like them as much as I do! PS: on the tree you cant really see alot of the decorations, so I guess you'll just have to come over for some pie and see it in person! :-) Visitors are always welcome! hahaha

ANOTHER CAR!

So we bought another car last night! It seems as though a good deal is just too hard for steve to pass up. Yet, these also are an answer to our prayers. Neither Steve or I have jobs and so for us, this was the perfect opportunity to make some extra money without having a job. The Lord knows what is best for us, and has REALLY blessed us! Heres a pic of it! Its a 99 VW Jetta!

Steve and I were on KSL two nights ago and found a car for sell for $600, and decided that we could fix it up and try to sell it for a profit.(Steve did this in high school to make money, and is farily good at it) So the lady said the first person to put the money in her hands would get it, thus we made a frantic dash to SLC to look at this car. Well.... needless to say it was a 600 dollar car. It was trashed! It was dirty and didnt look as if it had been cleaned in years. There was dog hair EVERYWHERE. There was all sorts of who knows what on the floor and seats. The engine runs like a champ though! The car was stolen and wrecked so the front driver corner is smashed. Because of this several other things didnt work. The best one is that the driver door didnt work and you have to jimmy-rig it to get it to close! Plus the back door behind the driver side doesnt open at all and the glove box was hanging open on one side and wouldnt open or close. Well we bought the car. She had too much potential to pass up. So for the last two days, Steve and I have been cleaning, fixing, and replacing. We named her 'Red Fang', and have decided that she really is a ton of fun! She has a lot of work to go, but in the end, she be a beauty! We are both excited to get her done so we can sell her and hopefully make some extra money seeing as neither of us work! Plus, we found another deal and are going to look to but another one that we can fix it up and sell it as well! This fixing up and selling cars has been way fun for both Steve and I. For me at least, who knows very little-next to nothing about cars, its a good way to learn! So here are some pictures of Red Fang... hope you can see as much potential as we did!!! :-)

I baked a pie today!!! Carissa Rasmussen came over and showed me her mad skills and helped me bake my very first pie. The best thing about it is that I took one of them to enrichment night and one lady thought that I had bought it at a store! It was the highlight of my week! Carissa knows her stuff! Steve LOVED the fact that I am trying new things.

MOVING TO TEXAS!

So Steve and I took a job just outside Dallas, TX and are going to be moving there this spring! Talk about a crazy surprise! I have never even been to Texas and now am going to be moving there! Its hard to believe but its true! Good ol' Idaho girl is going out into the world! I think that I am more nervous to move than Steve is. He served his mission in San Antonio, so he is very excited to be moving closer. He has already planned several trips down there already! I am going to be transferring to TCU most likely and finishing my undergrad in Psychology there. Hopefully then I'll be able to get into a masters program and finish that as well. Steve will be working in Colleyville which is about 30 min outside of Fort Worth as well as Dallas. We are looking into finding an apartment in either Bedford or Richland Hills. Honestly I never had a desire to move there, and so I am trying to come up with a list of things to look forward to when we move rather than just think about how much I am going to miss Provo, as well as my family. So here's what I have so far....1. Boating almost year round. ALWAYS a plus!! 2. Great shopping! 3. all sorts of major sports... almost any professional sport has a team from the area, so those games will be way fun! and thats all i have so far..... if you have any more ideas... let me know! :-) Heres a picture of the river walk that goes though Colleyville. Looks nice right?!

Homework and books. It seems as though these are the only things that Steve and I ever do anymore! They just consume our lives!!!!! Sometimes we switch it up... we'll study fourth floor of the library.. then maybe the tanner... and then home. The change in scenery does help, but it still doesn't get rid of the fact that it is studying! Here is a picture of us in the library- dying from book overload.
